This brown velvet two-piece wonder from Stella McCartney for Chloe’s iconic ’01 collection transports you straight to the runway! As pictured, it’s the commercial version of Look 34, featuring a marvelous metal rooster appliqué. Vogue said of the collection: “McCartney kept the grown-up couture vibes rollin’, but remembered to stay true to Chloé’s youthful, joyful roots.” Stella’s designing there from ’98 was integral to reviving Chloe’s name; this ensemble showing us why it’s enjoyed such timelessness. The jacket – a showstopper all on its own – features a corset-boned, body-skimming shape and winged, open-front flaps. Flaunting a big backside metal rooster and long lean sleeves with fancy wrist detail. Plus the ombre trousers! So effortlessly chic, its a masterpiece.
